Babysitting Beauties

Confession: I am not a consistent blogger. I wish I was, but I'm not and I have accepted it. So if you read this you will just have to accept the fact that the events of my life will seem very random and all over the place.

For the past month I have been looking for a job and FINALLY I found one working as a summer intern at Great American Financial Resources. I worked there last summer and feel so blessed that they asked me back at the last second. I got so tired of hearing people wouldn't hire me "due to the economic situation." So I am super grateful to have a job.

Anyways....in the past month I have been babysitting the kids I babysat in high school a lot. The beauties that you see below are the ones I have spent the most of my time with and are also my cousins. They are all just too photogenic and adorable not to post these pics.

Sydney. She is good at making fashion statements with her rain boots and the swim float over the clothes look. We played "Pretty Pretty Princess" a lot. In reference to the jewelry that I wore during the game, Sydney said, "You know you can't keep those."

Emmy. This rolling chair was great! Until she became interested in the trash can...

awwwwwww

Tate. One of my favorite pictures. ketchup all over the face. That's the way I like it, uh huh, uh huh.

Being excited when you win the pretty pretty princess crown. That's what you get for having all sisters.

"Would you PLEASE stop taking my picture? I thought we established the fact that I was adorable?"

A Tribute to Emily

While I am having a fun time this summer being at home with my family, I am looking forward to this fall living with my cousin and best friend, Emily. Now a fun memory from my cousin Mark's wedding.

Emily and I have a tendency to constantly giggle and talk like crazy, so at Mark's receptions we had two options. 1) to sit in a corner by ourselves away from everyone in our comfort zone being crazy together OR 2) be social and meet new people. We thought since we are in our 20s, maybe we should take the higher road and be social. So we totally put ourselves out there. We sat at an empty table to eat our icecream just inviting people to sit with us. We were so proud of ourselves. Somehow we just have a non-social vibe because one by one each of the 8 chairs around our table was taken by other college students to allow them to sit at the table RIGHT NEXT TO US. We couldn't stop laughing at the irony of the situation. See pictures below for a better illustration.

Em and i sitting all by ourselves.

Our fellow robust and social college students having a great time.

We embraced it and decided to be obsessed with each other the rest of the night (not that we already aren't).

Dancing the night away.

I love you Emily!!!!
