Disneyland: The Happiest Place on Earth

Alas, BYU does not have a spring break. BUT, we do have one whole day off for President's Day, so 14 of me and my friends decided to go to California and live it up.

Even though it was in the forties, windy, raining, and cold, it is against my moral judgement to go to the beach and not get in the water. Running into that water was worth every second.

Jeff, Bryce, Me: the nutty ones in the group

                           Playing football in the rain.

DISNEYLAND: It's official, the happiest place on earth.  Look at our faces.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Indiana Jones!

We felt really cool wearing our ponchos.  Even though we were mostly wet, we were completely happy.  The rain kept lots of people out of Disneyland, but not us, so we got to ride all the best rides.

On Sunday, we went to a museum called "The Getty" in L.A. It was really pretty.

The whole group in front of the L.A. temple.

A super cool tree next to the temple.

Best road trip activity ever: Buy a bag of Blackforest gummy bears from Costco. Lick them, and throw them on the cars of fellow roadtrippers. They stick.

When all was said and done, this was a great trip where I made so many wonderful memories and strengthened friendships.  Life is good.
